  4. QUESTION:
    baby food question. first baby...?
i have a 6 month old daughter. ive been giving her cow and gate or hipp organic baby food jars. i get vegtable ones and sweet ones too such as bannana custard. i just wanted to ask can i keep giving her baby food in jars? sometimes i cook for her but i have abit of a hectic lifestyle so is baby food (from shops) okay??? my mum told me she used to give cow and gate baby jars, to me and my brother all the time.

    • ANSWER:
hi. there is nothing wrong with that, but if you can give her fresh food that you cook is the best.when my daughter was 6 mnths,i gave her half boiled egg,and biscuit for breakfast.for lunch i cook her rice and mix with vegetables like carrot, tomato and potato with little salt and olive oil and blend untill soft.i gave her mashed banana mix with little milk.i made her custard for evening,it's easy milk, sugar and custard powder and boil.if you have no idea what to cook for her,try to see what food have in the market for her age and make yourself in the house.you no need to do everyday, make it every 3 days(max).pumpkin is good for her too.
you can let her taste any type of food, seriously.so that she won't make you boring when start give her real solid food.for egg, just give her little, half of the boiled to see will she get any allergy to it.if the whole day she is fine, you can start give her everyday.until now i give my daughter egg for breakfast.
      good luck!
